  • Perfect for meetings, workshops, retreats, seminars, and small gatherings.

    Pricing: During operating hours: $100/hour (2-hour minimum) and after operating hours: $150/hour (2-hour minimum).

    Amenities vary by room and may include tables, chairs, and presentation space. Our team can help you choose the best room for your needs.

  • Enjoy private access to the museum after closing hours for a truly one-of-a-kind event. Ideal for receptions, reunions, celebrations, and large social gatherings, with space for caterers or bands. Capacity up to 400 guests.

    Pricing $600/hour (2-hour minimum)

  • Designed for adults and young-at-heart groups, Buggy Business workshops turn museum exhibits into a collaborative team-building experience.

    • 2-hour guided workshop

    • Held after normal operating hours

    • Great for businesses, student groups, churches, and retreats

Reservations and Billing Policies

Facility rentals are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend making reservations at least four weeks in advance. A 50% nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of booking, along with a signed Facility Rental Contract. The remaining balance is due upon departure from the facility.

  • To protect the integrity of museum exhibits, all decorations must be approved prior to event setup. Open flames, fog machines, and pyrotechnics are not permitted due to alarm systems.
    For events in the Genworth Education Center, lighting systems and special décor may be allowed with approval.

    The museum handles standard post-event cleanup; however, any cleaning beyond normal wear and tear will be billed to the renting group. Clients are responsible for coordinating the delivery and pickup of any special décor or props on the evening of the event.

  • Clients may cater their own event or bring in an outside caterer of their choice. If you would like recommendations, a list of preferred caterers is available upon request.

  • The museum is equipped with a paging system. Additional sound and projection equipment may be available for rental—please inquire in advance regarding needs and availability.

  • Alcoholic beverages are permitted with an approved ABC license and prior museum approval. All beverages must remain inside the facility at all times. Please ask about available bar options for the Genworth Education Center.

    Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside Amazement Square or near the museum entrance doors.

  • Any written or printed materials that include Amazement Square’s name, logo, or likeness—whether in text or graphic form—must receive museum approval prior to publication or distribution. Requests for museum brochures or flyers may be accommodated upon request.

  • Amazement Square supports the community. Any ticketed event hosted at the museum is expected to donate a portion of proceeds to a charitable organization of the renter’s choice.

  • A variety of rental amenities are available, ranging from tables and chairs to a full light-up bar. Availability and quantities vary—please ask about current options when planning your event.
