+ Quieter Hours
Every Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Amazement Square hosts sensory-friendly quiet hours, aiming to provide a quieter museum experience for visitors. While these hours are dedicated to creating a calmer atmosphere, Amazement Square remains open to the public, welcoming everyone to explore its exhibits during this time. Louder museum components will be turned off to minimize audio overstimulation. A limited number of noise-reducing headphones and Sensory Kits are free for check-out at the front desk and can be requested from museum educators.
There will also be a dedicated Take-a-Break space for those who wish to take a calming break from the museum atmosphere.
+ Sensory Kits
Upon request, we have sensory kits available for check-out (with exchange of license/car key). Included in these packs are headphones and different types of sensory fidgets
